Raffle prize: Free Cooking Session

Cracking Good Food are pleased to donate a free cooking session for 6 people. Any cuisine, any dietary requirements, cooked with you and your mates in your home.

The raffle prize has been donated to Chorlton Big Green Festival and will be pulled on the 27th March 2010, so get down there and get a ticket.

Cracking Good Food has received funding from the Co-operative Membership, part of The Co-operative who want to support this project and help us release the funding from Local Food Fund!

Cooking with Chorlton Good Neighbours

Cracking Good Food have been commissioned by Chorlton Good Neighbours to run six cooking sessions with their community group of older Chorlton residents. We are looking forward to cooking together and sharing quick soup, microwave marvels, easy puddings and one pot dinners.

Dave Griffiths, a lecturer from New Media Design & Animation at The Manchester College has introduced us to one of his best students, John Atkinson who has agreed to do a design for our brand. We’ve asked for something fun and friendly, a bit retro but modern too. He seemed well up for it

Grant from National Lottery

Cracking Good Food has received funding from Local Food Fund, part of the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces programme. The Fund has asked us to run cooking sessions that emphasise local, seasonal food, independent shops and working with people from every walks of life. We want to do that anyway, so we’d be delighted to get some funding for it!

Now all we need to do is find match funding to release the money..
